Head over to Classroom DIY for the tutorial!
I painted this one!
The Teacher Toolbox
As I'm sure you've seen, there are MANY cute renditions of this all over Pinterest! The original idea is from Rebecca Rojas at Create*Teach*Share. Head to her site for a tutorial and printables!

Totally Terrific in Texas
Hey there! Just found your blog through pinterest and I absolutely LOVE everything on here! I am (hopfully) going to be a first year teacher this year and love all your ideas and will definitely use a lot of them in my classroom!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to know how you made your labels for your toolbox? I have downloaded the templates from the other website you linked up, but I want to make mine similar to yours because I love the polka dots (i'm a polkda dot freak! :)) did you just print on plain paper and then add the words to polka dot papers? I bet that was tedious if you did! :) Thanks so much!
Hi, Rebekah -
DeleteThanks for the sweet comment! For my teacher toolbox, I cut scrapbook paper to the size of the drawers (from Hobby Lobby) and then printed off my labels on colored copy paper. Yes, it WAS tedious! :) I'm happy with how it turned out, though! Best of luck on finding your first teaching job! :)
Hi Jessica,
ReplyDeleteI just purchased the organizer today, and I'm so happy I came across your's - I LOVE it!! Thanks so much for the post! Did you just tape the paper to the printed words and then tape that all or did you glue/modpodge?
Thanks!
Tracy
Thanks, Traci! I printed off the labels on colored paper and glued them to the polka dot scrapbook paper. Then, I just carefully taped everything to the drawers. Hope this makes sense! Good luck! :)
DeleteI will be doing this tomorrow! Thanks so much, it totally makes sense - who'd have thought - just glue & scotch tape! I live in CT and boy, I wish we had Hobby Lobby around us!! :) I actually made the large letter with polka dots last month from ideas from pinterest too!
